Some of you may not be familiar with what a ‘blog’ is. Basically it’s just a log or journal or diary that happens to be written, published and managed on the web. ‘Web log’ shortened down to simply ‘Blog’. It’s very easy for anyone to simply log into a special web section of a site to write something and hit a ‘publish’ button in order to put your words on the site. These posts are organized in many ways such as tags and dates and categories. For instance if you like to write about different things you can tag a post with a keyword in order to filter all such posts in the future if you want to search for something. People visiting the site can then comment on your post and you can respond as well. You will see many of these features here already and more will come up later.

Im playing around with a plug-in called NextGen photo gallery to allow me to publish and organize old and new photos here. It’s pretty complicated but thats good cuz it usually means there are a ton of options to organize everything the way I want. If you go to the top of the page and click on the Photography section you can see it in action. It’s gonna take some time to get all this figured out but it’s going to be very cool once it’s active.
